Control Rod connection to Servo

Postby Vince on Tue Feb 05, 2008 2:54 pm

Hi

Am currently building my first plane, Taxi Cup II.

I am not happy with the supplied method of fixing the control rod to servo and was wondering about using some ball joint couplings, but these need soldering to the control rod. I have never used a soldeing iron therefore am a bit stuck.

Anybody out there who can help ?

Thanks & Regards
Vince

Last night, having first introduced Paul to a neat new way of connecting control rods to servos, he spent the next 2 hours showing me the other (correct !) way.

Thanks Paul - i'm afraid you have probably not seen the last of me !!!

Regards
Vince

ps Nice cup of tea Sharon.
